So, ya know, you *can* change America's right-wing party, the Democrats.
You gotta show up at the primaries. You gotta vote left. No left candidate? Well, vote for the left-ist, and consider who you're gonna get to run next time, maybe yourself.
Mostly -- tho not everywhere, believe me -- your person will still lose.
That's okay, tho, that doesn't mean *we* lose.
Every time we demonstrate that a left-leaning candidate is a viable candidate, we change the Democratic party, we *win*.
Show up.
You don't think it matters, I know. But it does.
It matters so much that the GOP is spending *billions* of dollars tryna convince you it doesn't.
It matters so much that the 6-3 majority of fascist boot-lickers on the Supreme Court is doing everything in its power to prevent your vote from counting.
It fucking matters.
I'm not a Democrat. The best of them make me uncomfortable, and the most of them give me the fuckin' creeps.
That's not important right now.
These people are mercenary. They go where the votes are. Show them the votes are there for people who care about other people.
Voting really matters.
And yes, it's not the only thing, and it's just one thing, not "the" one thing. There *is* no one thing.
Because the power is small and spread out, it's easy to believe you don't have it.
But you do.
