The how-to (yes, it's M51 on the screen, I moved to M63 just after taking this pic)
A more polished processing. Not my best pic, it's not as sharp as my M51 was (but the seeing must have been exceptional then, not the case last night).
Still a good result for just 2 hours and a cheap planetary camera 😊

@hendric 662mc . Smol sensor but smol pixels too. Make me want to buy a big cooled one with same pixel size...
@corpsmoderne I did a comparison between my Canon SL1 and my solar Halpha mono ASI174MM camera, was quite surprised how good it came out even in light polluted suburban Austin without any cooling. I have a new astro-dedicated camera on the wish list, but its a hard choice!
