I recall reading something last week comparing UI design craftsmanship to expert woodworking, where if joints are cut perfectly you can fit pieces together, securely, without nails, screws or glue. The piece just fit. I can't find the post, but I *think* it was here on Mastodon. Can't find it though. (I don't recall whether the post mentions “kigumi”, the Japanese word for the technique.)
Anyone else see it? Kinda driving me nuts.
