Well, that's great Steve but I feel like you're forgetting whose opinion matters - the voters who just wiped you out.
Again, I can't stress this enough - Labour did not "lose" the local elections. They got beat like Walt Mondale.

The fact that there is ANYONE theorizing that Keir Starmer could turn this around and somehow win an election after this, tells you just how ingrained lib brain is in the party and just how much they're prepared to risk to contain their own left for capital.
