i have a GPU I need to tear down and repaste but looking at the videos it seems some of it is thermal padded and other parts are thermal pasted. is there any reason why i would want to do pads instead of all paste? maybe there's a height difference or something?
also can i use the same thermal paste i bought for my cpu on this bc i see some mentions of gpu thermal pastes and idk if that's a real thing i need to think about or a scam to sell more thermal paste
also when you look for my specific card you get many, many videos of teardowns claiming to be the same card but have clearly different internal structures bc gpus are insanity. but this is the one that I'm using for reference
