Outstanding. Canada is far too deferential to the Americans, far too dependent on them for military hardware. We鈥檇 do better not only to buy elsewhere, but to develop domestically. The Avro Arrow was killed because its mission disappeared鈥攂ut Canada鈥檚 military aviation industry was dismantled at the same time, to appease the USA. Adopting #Rafale or #Gripen with generous industrial offsets, would begin to correct that historical blunder.
