I wish a media critic with clout would ask the New York Times if it is still employing the reporter who did this -- read the "Editor's Note" attached to the end of the story; screenshot here -- and, if so, why.

@dangillmor they are just quoting lies anyways. Is that even any better? Us Canadians DO have a way to kick out politicians when they do something wrong. This guy should know because there's about a dozen politicians facing expousal in a similar far-right Provincial party. Also his federal party has accepted their fair share of floor crossers. The NYT does a diservice to everyone for continuing to quote this lying shack of shit trump wannabe

@dangillmor retroactively change the quote, all is forgotten? Seems a little bit weak for a complete misrepresentation of an important Canadian politician.

Even so, I don't agree with what he's saying in this supposedly accurate quote.

That's just not how it works. So, yeah, there is a constructed majority government now.
