Anyone have a suggestion for handheld gameboy-like for playing Love2D, L5 and maybe Pico-8 or TIC80 programs?
I'm teaching L5 in one of my creative coding courses in the fall (Drawing, Moving and Seeing with Code), and an intro Programming Games class with Love2d and Pico-8 or TIC-80.
It would be nice to have some handhelds i think. I currently have a Ambernic RG-280V. is ambernic the answer? i would hope there is a better-documented, well-made alternative to Analog Pocket or their competitor ModRetro (owned by an arms manufacturer goon).
