@neil
I actually have a friend named Patrick who was born on St. Patrick's day.
His parents had originally planned to name him Robert, but decided on Patrick because of his birthday.
@fanf For the past year I have worked with a guy whose last name, in his native language, means “pancake”, and I have been afraid to ask him about it.
@neil This actually happened to my dad, Patrick, born on the 17th of March. He was originally going to be Paul (IIRC).
@neil My friend Doris says she doesn't get it.
@neil This just makes me think of Dr. Christmas Jones.
@neil
So Boxing was born on St Stephen's day?
@neil There are plenty of people named May and Dee; might need to check their birthdays!
@neil
At least Pancake wasn’t named ‘Shrove.’
A quick search for St Neil brought up this:

November 12th it is.
I'm divided, as there are three different St René, with three different feast days.
