I had heard about the CloudFlare job cuts, what I had not realized is that after announcing them the company lost over 23% of its value in one sitting. I guess the trick of announcing job cuts to pump up your stock doesn't work anymore.
@da_667 “announcing job cuts to pump up your stock” only works when you’re not in a recession. Announcing major job cuts during a recession means your company is being badly affected.
Oh yeah, by the way the USA is in a deep recession if you exclude NVidia and all the spicy autocarrot companies that are doing circular deals with NVidia.
