meanwhile grass pollen season is in its exponential hockey-stick phase for the year, I just stepped up to double dosing fexofenadine 3 days ago and it looks like I may have to step up again to triple dosing sooner than anticipated and/or add eye drops depending on which symptoms fully break thru first.
being able to get alcaftadine eye drops OTC isn't quite a game changer but it is the best development in antihistamines in close to a decade.
I need to get another round of allergy shots but I haven't managed to get my shit together to go thru the process.
this wouldn't really be trifling if I didn't have access to these meds, my allergies to local grasses are incapacitating in every sense of the word without them. like I'd have no choice but to move away or leave every summer without the meds.
thankfully fexofenadine has gotten fairly cheap, $0.10 per 180mg extended-release tab, I try to keep a summer's worth on hand at all times at that price as most competitor brands are 50% higher or more.
