The Wall Street Journal describe two camps of CEOs when it comes to AI productivity gains.
In one camp are companies like Coinbase, Cloudflare, Block & PayPal which have chosen layoffs. In the other, Axon & Spotify have said they don’t plan to do layoffs but instead expect to deliver more value to customers than before.
The problem is neither camp expects to hire much in the future.
