This is a super interesting analysis about what could happen in Tennessee based on the NEW map. Think about it. Tennessee had gerrymandered the state so the Memphis Dem stronghold was concentrated in one district. That gave them 8 solid red districts. That is how you usually do gerrymandering. Now they have spread out the Dem vote across three districts with the result that if Dems overperform, as they have been doing in off year special elections all over the country, they could win all three.

Ex congressman Jim Cooper chief of staff Lisa Quigley and data analyst David Manasco👇🏽are both among those saying the new map stripping Memphis of representation actually has potentially put 4-5 TN districts within range… if Dems really turn out and vote. 👀
