Use it, don’t, just stop lying about what is clearly openwashing of a crypto company’s lock-in plan. Getting other fools to build on top of it and think they are meaningfully independent is a great plan
The reason this cannot by applied to activitypub/mastodon is because bluesky has the whole identity and storage server concept built in, and let’s be honest that is a degree of centralisation you can only be comfortable with if you don’t think your opinions might align with such fringe radicals like… UN and ICC officials?
@maxine EU commission is just stuffing mastodon with money and nobody considers this sort of odd or worth commenting on
