@blackpc I do purposefully handle them a lot as babies, so when I milk them or handle them for other reasons as adults, they enjoy the contact rather than being stressed out by it. Plus it's an excuse to make sure I hold all the baby goats regularly. Win-win!

I came for the astronomy, but stayed for the cute animals.
We put the ducklings (who are almost fully feathered now and occasionally quacking) into the greenhouse and they are SO much happier! I should have done this earlier but didn't think of it. (Chickens can't be in the greenhouse because they will jump up and eat seedlings. But domestic ducks can't jump or fly, so perfect!)
@sundogplanets I thought the US government had a huge campaign to teach everyone that ducks like cover.
