I don't know if this is really a thing on the Fediverse or not, but do people trade old books on here? Is there a book swap? Or even a digital little free library where all you pay is shipping?
I'm looking for some Kahlil Gibran books, particularly "Sand & Foam" and "The Madman." If you've got any old still-readable copies you don't need, please get in touch!
Could that maybe be a use case for @inventaire + #flohmarkt @grindhold, eventually including some kind of integration where selected Inventaire items can be offered for swapping in an interoperable way?
Other offer-request networks may integrate in a way that they can understand which kind of exchange modality is expected other than buying, like lending, the said swapping or gifting.
