@petrillic their custom cable service? They’ve had that for at least a year, maybe two
@jpm oh sorry, meant electrical discharge machining. It's basically using electricity to "burn away" metals. And it looks like they only do bulk EDM (which is great for really high aspect-ratio holes), but do not do wire, at least yet.
Wire lets you do some bonkers tight tolerances.
@petrillic ah gotcha, yeah I think I saw that service a couple of months ago? They keep adding new cool shit, then dropping the price of everything. Their flex-PCB service is now $5 for the most basic options
@jpm I need an excuse to do flex, but haven't really had it. Maybe I just need to invent one. Maybe some kind of capacitive touch monstrosity?
