@makeratschool @_elena They do take care a lot, especially for the politicians that feel flattered by this act of „support“ from… wait for it… Bluesky. I think the Fediverse is more honest about this and says: go and verify yourself if you need checkmarks of any color. I do not believe that Eurosky will grow out of the dependence from Bluesky ever. I wish my future me tells me that I was wrong.

@Sascha I wasn't in the room for this (already at the airport) so I am really disappointed by Eurosky's staunch claims that they "have NOTHING to do with Bluesky" (starting at 4:20) and yet they are begging Bluesky for help with verifying their users?
Maybe my next exposé will be about this 🫢
