We talked about joy. Not joy as a reward for doing the work correctly. Joy as the thing the myth could not take even when it took everything else. Joy as evidence.
Joy as the reason this work is sustainable when so much of this space burns people out and produces nothing but more grief.
We talked about why Black women are the moral compass of this country and why that is not a compliment that needs your validation. It is a fact produced by surviving systems, institutions, and policies specifically designed to eliminate us, and still showing up, still dancing, still building.
We talked about the difference between fighting against what you do not want and building what you do. That distinction is what produced the Life Beyond the Supremacy Myth ecosystem.
