Interweaving their distinctive styles, the two women create a conversation on the canvas, retelling the storyline of Antara, a site cared for by their ancestors since time immemorial. ‘I am glad to be able to pass this story down to the younger generation, showing them everything that needs to be known. “Wish you were here 2009” by Fatima Killeen is a large collage of repeated pieces in warm earth tones, reds and orange mixing Arabic font language and the distinctive shape of Uluṟu.
