I understood why Adobe started on this road. They couldn’t add features compelling enough to sell a paid upgrade, which traditionally had been a tad above $ 500 per flagship. The old versions worked more than well enough.
Students actually liked it. They only paid for subscriptions while taking classes (they weren’t using it except for class work? Then why learn it?)
I’m glad to finally see a sea change, a seeming majority of users, tired of the abuse.
@marcoarment @pxlnv Oh indeed. One now has to watch their "generative fill" credits in Photoshop whilst wrestling with the giant adjustment layer bug that disables the sliders and only the number box allows input if you are on Tahoe and dare to use a touch pad. QA 101 and Adobe missed it...of course they blame Apple....Who blames Adobe.

@marcoarment @pxlnv the great mistake was allowing software not to be sold as a product, but licensed. That is the original sin from which everything else flows down.
