@cstross Unfortunately, so msny sites have chosen to develop based on Chrome browser usage, where key features and functionality are buggy or unresponsive on other browsers, even on similar Chromium browsers. So the best solution isnt a solution. Unfortunately.

@cstross I just opened the system settings of Chrome on my Mac and disabled the checkbox to allow using a local AI model and Chrome deleted this big file on my device. Not sure if I missed something 🤔

@cstross if you could instead say no about casting it into the fire and built a collective bargaining agreement with the ai - i.e. take over 1000 nodes or something- what would you build on that platform is my question; are other dev groups pillaging their user base in similar ways is the other, i don't think it is an isolated incident but more of a trend

Hmmm. Self wonders how much of that 4GB is D/L, and how much setting up ginormous data tables. An array of SIZEOF(wordlist) vectors in SIZEOF(wordlist) dimensions is going to be chunky, even unpopulated with an efficient sparse-array algorithm.
