@sundogplanets It looks like the ducks are playing hide and seek.
I've been putting the ducklings (who are now quite large but not fully feathered) out on the sprouting grass in a big cage during the day. As it gets colder in the evening, I herd them back into the barn. Ducks are incredibly easy to herd!
But today my plans were foiled: just as I herded the ducks to the barn door, Devil Cat the barn cat came sauntering out and the ducklings bolted and hid. (I did get them in after the cat left.)
the expression "getting your ducks in a row" is a huge basis in fact for the challenge. ;)
