looks like the stripe migration worked as intended - the only problem is that existing subscribers will not get an automatic refund when if they cancel their current subscription, because technically, there was no payment made via this new stripe account, so there's nothing to refund, I’ll have to do it manually - if they renew their subscription and then decide they want to cancel that one, they'll get an automatic refund as a payment would have been made in that stripe account (and of course, new customers can cancel and get a refund automatically)

that step list they gave you was logical but damn did it feel fiddly and hacky. now that you've had your vegetables, on to the dessert.. have fun!
