I still don't understand why pasting without formatting isn't the default on computers. I never want to carry over the font, the color, and the size of text. Why do they do this to us?

I don't want to type Ctrl + Shift + V! My fingers were trained on Ctrl +V for forever!
Why doesn't firefox make pasting plain text the default? Or at least let you toggle a setting to make it the default? The abundance of 3rd-party plugins that do this would seem to suggest that it's what users want.
