@cstross Don't try doing handbrake turns in a train, kids!
@cstross track may just need slewing back and tamping if they were lucky. A lot depends on mindset and equipment though. Indian Railways fixes worse in a couple of days every monsoon season
@cstross ok, found a different angle, it seems to be real. But an unexpected damage pattern
@cstross Believe me, we can commiserate here in Spain. The high speed line from Malaga to Madrid is still not opperational.
@cstross something about this does not look right. If the bed and the rails are moved so much, one bumper is deep in the gravel, why is the metal of the locomotive not bent? Why is the glass not broken? Looks like AI?
