@randahl it's worth noting that hantavirus is not typically spread person-to-person, so there's very real cause for caution.

@randahl Transmission dynamics != pathogen existence. And yes, COVID taught us a lot, like all the onboard measures in place right now.

But to be true, how much different is the situation of 200 souls aboard this ship (100m x 17m x 5 decks), compared to an average office building in terms of population density? Or taking the metro? Or going to a concert?

Maybe these people made a conscious choice. Like we all do when traveling.
