@flipper @pluralistic Exactly. I'm not impressed by a magic show because I think magic is real, I'm impressed because I know it isn't and still can't figure out how they did that. If magic was real then ok, whatever, hes just one of those guys that can teleport red balls between boxes, not even a lady or a whole car, pretty lame really, hes stupid for not just walking around teleporting wallets into his backpack.
If AI is so smart, why hasn't it made your company profitable yet? Pathetic.
@unlofl @flipper @pluralistic I've always enjoyed the Penn and Teller bits where they reveal exactly how a trick is done and it's somehow just as incredible if not even moreso to see them perform complicated moves so smoothly.

But my favorite is when they reveal the classic version of cutting a woman in half. Penn pulls off the side panel, shows shes bent part way down into the table, pulls out the safety stop on the blade, drops it... and actually cuts her in half with blood and everything! 😱
Gasps, big spectacle and distraction, lady somehow walks back on stage and bows with them, theres a second way to do the trick! What a twist!

The damage control team was in 10 forward, the ship was destroyed 12 hours later when the enemy got main power back online.
