A quick update on the fundraiser. Honestly, I felt almost ashamed to ask for this kind of help, because my own project was depending on support while starting to create frustration in my daily dev because of the machine. The response confirms it: Holos and my iOS projects aren't mature enough yet to have built that trust. So I'm dropping iOS for now and focusing on Android. The campaign is closed and contributors have been refunded.

No need for a refund on my side. I just like what you're doing and want to support you. It doesn't really matter to me if you're using my few bucks to buy a fraction of a Mac or a crate of beer. I'm not your boss. I just want you to stay happy and sane.
@rompe
Let's go for a coffee then, my engine 😊 Thank you so much for your support and kind words.
@apps Sorry, I was just scheduling iOS VoiceOver testing - you just opened the campaign and have already closed? Thankfully I haven't shared it, but I planned to. So let me know when iOS gets back
@elettrona
I can't build like I do currently, even though I'd love to publish to beta testers soon. I'll just have to reduce my frequency. The most uncomfortable part is having to delete build caches and emulators just to rebuild them later. Currently my best bet would be to keep only one environment at a time.
@apps Keep my testflight account anyway - and get in touch (I'll continue following your projects, hoping that holos gets working on iOS again)
@apps
I was surprised to got the email that it was refunded to me.
I personally don't care about iOS, but I know the pain when the dev machine is lagging and takes forever for every task and you don't deserve that pain. I would still be happy to contribute to help with that.
@fishy
Thank you so much for contributing. I'm really sorry if my choice is disappointing. I clearly need a more powerful machine, but Apple, even refurbished, is a huge cost. And I need to prove myself on iOS first, so users can trust the request. Maybe later, when the projects have grown and shown their value. For now, I'll keep building on what I have, without pressure on iOS :)
