Really appreciate the convention of labeling Progressive Democrats and Conservative Democrats as such.

We are in a battle not just against Republicans for control of the nation, but between Progressive and Conservative Democrats for control of the Democratic Party.

It is very helpful to identify by name which Democrats are Progressive and which are Conservative.

Kind of been wondering if they should be called Conservative Democrats or Schumer Democrats or something else. Feel like Progressive Democrates is a good label. Any thoughts?

Edit: Have seen Corporate Democrats and Establishnent Democrats, but none of these seem quite right for a moniker.

@heidilifeldman@mastodon.social @mastodonmigration@mastodon.online I think "conservative Democrats" is very accurate (whereas Centrist is doing a lot of heavy lifting for them), personally. They are, after all, trying to preserve the existing pre-Trump system / "status quo", so to speak.

Seems like party leaders are chosen for their lack of spine. That needs to change.
