@moses_izumi @peachymist @lumi there should be more and better source based package managers
just for the benefit of "this link goes to a git(or other vcs) repository with all my packages and i can easily share those with my friends"
@hipsterelectron @moses_izumi @peachymist @lumi the problem of spack is it is very dependent on python, and therefore completely up to the whims of the python developers
@hipsterelectron @moses_izumi @peachymist @lumi for package template definition, despite how shit posix shell is, it is a very good contender for that, there are already projects that use it for providing packaging and build logic (xbps-src and emerge)
