@neil Have you tried to use IPv6 over TOR's SOCKS5 server? I have Privoxy set up to forward to TOR over SOCKS5 and am finding that when Privoxy tries to connect to an IPv6 address TOR says the connection failed. Wondering if I have missed some config.

@steve Hmm... no, I've not tried that (or indeed used Tor as a socks proxy for years!). Sorry :(
@neil Ok, thanks anyway. I have a rather complex Squid -> Privoxy -> Tor configuration - works fine for clients configured to use non-transparent proxy (which pass the host name up the chain), but for transparent proxying the IP gets passed instead and it all goes wrong if that is IPv6 :(
@steve That is definitely interesting, but sadly not something I have tried.
And I absolutely must not set this up to poke around with it!
