@lzg Well, can't deny that. Water seems to be the most vegan food there is.
Most water, especially water that's exposed to the air, contains a bunch of single-celled organisms, and a lot of those are animals. There was a company a few years ago that tried to cash in on this by selling vegan water that was carefully filtered of microorganisms (though the fact that said microorganisms were probably killed in the process suggests that they missed the point). It was not successful because even the most hardcore vegans thought this was silly. In part because the water stops being vegan (according to their definition) seconds after you open the bottle, unless you somehow find a room full of vegan air to open it in. And, if you really think veganism goes that far, you can't breathe anywhere without a filter mask.
@david_chisnall @Brokar @lzg the definition of veganism contains "as far as is possible and practicable", which is why meds and water are fine
