@laprice i think it's misinformed to claim that antidepressants address external woes. that's what therapy is for, not medication. stimulant medication like adhd is far more frequently misused in a capitalist society that disrespects labor. in fact, much like trans people need estrogen or testosterone, i need methylphenidate and escitalopram to function as a human being. i would be depressed as a cro-magnon too

@laprice i think there's a discussion to have here i just don't think it's about antidepressants. that rfk is also really big on threatening to (i don't think he's gonna do it) restrict adhd medication is quite curious but generally revolves around his rank eugenicism
