What Makes a Growth Centered Story?
Growth-centered stories are a relatively new idea for me, and I’m still exploring all the different facets of what they are and how they work. Today I want to explore what makes a growth-centered story and how it’s different from other stories.

The more I pay attention, the more I see growth stories. Especially among indie writers who don't have agents and editors expecting us to tow the line of 'what works.'
@JessMahler It lets me see that there are other paths to good stories. I wonder if this is more of a heroine's journey.

I wouldn't consider it such. Or rather, i'd say that a heroine's journey may be one kind of growth-centered story, but growth-centered stories are a bigger category than just that.
(There are several versions of a 'heronine's journey' floating around already, and I'm honestly not a fan of any of them.)
