alright, I need help. explain to me why the fuck a simple audio recording, from OBS, with full system audio and microphone, no camera, takes 564MB of my storage. how do I get this down to post able on platforms like mastodon? cc: @alexchapman #obs

@adisonverlice @alexchapman Because it's likely still encoding video with a black screen into the file. You can use Audacity or similar to extract the audio, or FFmpeg can do it. I actually have OBS on my machine set to record three simultanious audio tracks, one a mix of the other two, one just my microphone, one just my computer audio
@KanawhaCountyWX @adisonverlice Oh I just use Goldwave to converted save as MP3 lol. Oh and to Adison you pinged my old Tweesecake acount instead of the one I now use as main, the V Continuum one.
