Every time I see a Labour Party advert on Facebook trying to tell me that the Greens are bad because of their drugs policy, it re-emphasises that the UK really needs to replace the failed war on drugs with literally anything else. e.g. a combo of American-style legalisation of softer drugs (with tax revenue from legal sale), and Portugal-style public health diversion for harder drugs—both are huge improvements on the status quo.
Not that who runs the local council has any effect on drug policy.
