Should I be horrified or bemused that I still know the fix for this is to put
Himem.sys
Device=emm386.exe
Dos=high,umb
into my config.sys, reboot the computer, and then install the game?

@sjvn I can remember the account number of a bank account I quit in 2001, but I can't remember my current bank account number.
So I guess this is how the human memory works.
