the thing is…
a billionaires ferrari being flooded is an entirely different kind of problem then a poor families home being flooded.
a billionaire is going to replace the ferrari with a brand new one in a matter of minutes with no noticeable effect on his bank account (plus his armada of lawyers ensures the insurance is paying quickly)
the biggest problem he has is to decide if he really wants the same color again.
@lazyb0y all the more reason for them to pay their fair share of the climate damage they carelessly cause.
@greenpeace it’s not karma, the rich can take countermeasures and are insulated from immediate impacts by wealth, while the poorest are subject to devastating impacts in the short term.

@greenpeace they should be taxed fairly in the first place, then dditional taxes levied for climate impact.
If you are rich you can take countermeasures. If you are poor losing your car can be devastating. The rich profit from destroying the world yet don't feel the consequences as harsh as the people they exploit for their wealth.
tl;dr: There is no carma just class war.
