One of the great contributions of AI is that you can quickly research prior art for any design decision you need to make. You don’t have to relearn every lesson that people who came before you learned.

@davew the art that generative AI based on LLMs would allow you to "research" is just a subset of the most likely objects to be tagged semantically with words "like" the words in your prompt
a huge joy and matter of style in design is the ability to express concepts through heterogenous symbols. not all symbols should be semantically close to the concept.
by definition, "research" through software that bombs schools, like Claude, can not support you in making good design decisions
