Another day exploring Julia. This time trying out ForwardDiff and Symbolics, and trying to do a few derivatives and integrals by hand.
It’s really cool! I like how it feels to write. So far I've tried REPL, in neovim and with pluto.jl. Since I'm first doing discrete excercises, Pluto.jl fits pretty well.
I only ever tried Mathematica for symbolic / Matlab for numeric in college, and I very much prefer Julia's syntax. The first-class support for unicode is great to write math!
