Last boost: my main takeaway from that article other than the obvious is that we can all do our part by referring to Meta's AR glasses as "pervert glasses", exclusively.
That's not a joke, by the way. The reason they asked Ray-Ban to do the design is that they desperately want the Creepy Gross Always-On Surveillance Glasses to be cool.
Convincing people that something is bad takes forever. But if everyone wearing these has 2 or 3 "ew, gross" interactions a week, the problem will solve itself.
