just got Knocked On My Ass by the President of the United States of America
Post
@halcy great campaign, that intro mission is awesome setpiece after awesome setpiece
the twist is going to be songbird is the traitor isn't it. that's going to be the twist.
cyberpunk phantom liberty
@halcy
Nooo songbird is great and you become friends after and she becomes a playable character
@jonny I deeply want this to be true (I stopped playing PL b/c I wasn't vibing w getting stitched up againnnn)
cyberpunk phantom liberty spoilers but not serious ones just answering whether the above post is true or not
@coral
Unfortunately it is not true and it is very sad, a very well done story though so imo it is worth it
I think Keanu should VA more video games
he's simultaneously extremely charismatic and the most annoying dipshit you have ever talked to. strikes a perfect balance.
man the base game final mission (don’t fear the reaper variant) and ending after was amazing honestly. genuinely stuck the landing.
@halcy I see you've read Literally Any Piece of Noir Media before
@lazyreader I think when a story goes „they must have someone on The Inside“ and then 3 seconds later someone who is on The Inside calls me then, well, you know. I‘m still currently hoping that I am being Misdirected, but I also don’t really have a good alternative candidate.
@halcy Ebert's Law of Economy of Characters strikes again
@halcy whoever wrote the thing wasn't very subtle about it, not even an hour after I met Songbird I was like "mmmmm I'm going to get betrayed by my toxic sexy cyborg gf
"
@frela yeah it's like the president goes "THAT MEANS THEY MUST HAVE SOMEONE ON THE INSIDE" and then songbird calls us
foreshadowing is a narrative device &c &c
happy to be surprised in case I am being Double Misled here tho
