Parent chat ended with white woman tears from the moderator, her husband chiming in to chide us about “being immature” about wanting ground rules. Almost 30 people liked that and I just can’t do this anymore. I got the racist response after defending queer parents and trans kids, of which I am or have been. But my black woman tears, my trans woman tears, don’t mean shit in the face of white fragility.

@me I once had to leave a parent chat because they told me it was rude to call out that someone was being racist. Parent chats are some fucking shit. And I'm so sorry.
