This is a very interesting project to me. There's a lot you can do with 625 words - including jumpstart forming grammar practice sentences, which is basically impossible with "common sentence" decks that over-represent indefinite articles. (I like "5000 sentences by most commonly used words" decks too, but a little further into a language!)
I really like the card format of having a full information answer and multiple cards with specific tasks related to absence of part of the information. This cues learning for me far better than just putting one thing on each side.
And their decks focus on pronunciation, giving IPA as well as audio!
