Enjoy Hamburg! You should definitively try Frisian tee, like "Bünting Tee" or "Thiele Tee". With brown sugar ("Kluntjes") and a bit of cream. Frisian tee is strong and malty - should serve the same "purpose" as coffee.

@_elena hmm, I'd say eat a "fischbrötchen" or/and if you are vegeatrian or vegan don't miss Franzbrötchen (a kind of cinnamon roll HH is famous for up here)
@_elena Have a nice trip! And it's not coffee, but close: the chocolate museum (with DIY chocolate at the end 😋) https://www.chocoversum.de/en/home/

@_elena have a good trip and a good conference, hope you have a blast there.
Good morning 🌞
@_elena
There is a small park nearby as well, near Kellinghusenstr. And a bigger one near Martinistr.
I really hope you enjoy it.
Good luck for your talk!
If you want to see a traditional German café and like real hand make cakes etc, and have enough time, go to Konditorei Lindtner in Eppendorf.(https://www.lindtner.com/de/gastronomie/konditorei-lindtner).
It is wonderful, if you like old, polished wood, good service, excellent tea (if you want to try the variety with kluntje and cream). But expensive, of course, but most will be. The area is nice and it is easy to go there by bus or underground (which is above ground a lot in Hamburg).

If you are near the harbour, try Herr: https://speicherstadt-kaffee.de/oeffnungszeiten-anfahrt/
They roast their own coffee, have a variety of espressi and the location is beautiful and interesting. The Speicherstadt belongs to the United Nations cultural heritage. The coffee will taste German, though. As the Germans prefer it differently to Italians, but it is good nevertheless.

The old Elbe tunnel is interesting and does not take long to visit. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elbe_Tunnel_(1911)
There is a small coffee museum in Hamburg with an adjoining café where they serve a variety of different coffees. https://kaffeemuseum-burg.de
@jze whaaaaaaaaat? A coffee MUSEUM? thank you for the brilliant advice (and the tunnel too)🏆💖
@_elena Black Hat Coffee, Eppendorfer Weg 66.
@_elena Bon voyage, Elena! ✈️ We will transfer our horse quite close, near Bremen today. Unfortunately my schedule doesn't allow visit 2NR, so maybe next time! 🙂 What time is your appearance?
@_elena if you habe the time, take a ride in the ferry to Finkenwerder (and back). It's part oft public transport and gives you a good impression of the harbour. https://www.hamburg.de/verkehr/hadag-linie-62-314160
@_elena I wouldn't know about that coffee in Hamburg business, but with or without coffee of a kind to please an Italian, may you give a great presentation! 🤘 😎 👍
