I try not to judge people by their names but it’s interesting that guys named Fuentes and Bovino think they are the arbiter of American values

Like if I loved America THAT much I’d change my last name to Jackson, Johnson or Washington or what have you

@davep lol my name is actually of Persian/Arabic origin. And my last name is way too unique to be used on social media
Your *first* name is too unique to use on social media. I have literally never heard of anyone by that name before, and I've been chatting online for 30 years.
Some random person could tell me “you heard about that [your first name] lady?” and I would know exactly who they're talking about, no context required.
@farah Meanwhile I'm wishing desperately that I had changed my last name from Johnson to Peace (my part-Native-American stepdad's last name) back when I turned 18.
