Well, the term "permissive" is a very cunning evil ploy to enable corporate takeover, encouraging the weak minded to throw away all of our freedoms, wrapped in positive sounding language.
Don't fall for it, don't ever use Big Tech's propaganda.

Who wants restrictive when you can also get permissive?
Well, if the restriction is the only protection we have against Big Tech stealing all of our work and taking away all of our freedoms, and it doesn't restrict us in any way, this restriction is probably a good thing.
This is apparently too hard to understand or think through for many.
