One riffed on an urban legend about a russian who loaded his brain onto floppy disks only to regret it.
Others featured a wooden box found by a customs agent which you should be careful not to touch the rim of or you'll be trapped inside, a courtship with a hot girl (her kiss boils your face off), an early edition of The Tale of a Field Hospital, an ESP experiment, & a book which foretells your gruesome demise.
