I am generally a fan of open world RPGs, but from what I gather, #CrimsonDesert focuses on gameplay and doesn't have much interesting lore.
Is that correct?

@juergen_hubert There's a few interesting encounters but yeah the story is not strong in CD. It does offer a lot to do without being focused on the story quests though.
The lore doesn't need to have much to do with the story of a game to be interesting, though.
Consider all the lore books on Elder Scrolls games, or the data points in the Horizon games. Most aren't necessary to read for the quest you do, but they provide a lot of context for the world around the protagonist.
@juergen_hubert Yeah there is not a lot of background or information about how things came to be or link together etc. No real history behind things. It is a really fun game though once you get into it and as i said there is a heck of a lot to do. (I'm close to 140 hours and havent finished the main story questline).
